Biofilm quantification assay

We have developed a bioluminescence based biofilm quantification assay in collaboration with researchers from Biotechnical Faculty at University of Ljubljana. We have shown that it works great in Listeria innocua, which is considered a non-pathogenic surrogate for Listeria monocytogenes. This biofilm assay enables absolute quantification of bacterial cells and is considered as a viable alternative or a complement to existing methods.
