V \u010dlanku so pokazali, da nov reverzibilni inhibitor katepsina X zna\u010dilno zmanj\u0161a napredovanje tumorjev tako in vitro kot in vivo na mi\u0161jih modelih. Hkrati so pokazali, sinergisti\u010dni u\u010dinek so\u010dasne inhibicije sorodnih katepsinov B in X s selektivnimi, reverzibilnimi inhibitorji pri zaviranju procesov napredovanja tumorja.
