Pomen sestave mikrobiote se prekriva z in je komplementarno raziskavam dobrodejnih bakterij, probiotikov. Najpogostej\u0161i probiotiki so iz skupine mla\u010dnokislinskih bakterij, ve\u010dinoma iz rodov <em>Lactobacillus<\/em> in <em>Lactococcus<\/em>.<br \/>Na\u0161e raziskave vklju\u010dujejo biotehnologijo in genski in\u017eeniring probiotikov in drugih mle\u010dnokislinskih bakterij, in so organizirane v tri sklope. Prvi sklop vklju\u010duje razvoj gensko spremenjenih mle\u010dnokislinskih bakterij kot sistemov za dostavo terapevtskih molekul na razli\u010dne sluzni\u010dne povr\u0161ne. Razvili smo bakterije, ki so sposobne vezave razli\u010dnih proinflamatornih citokinov\u00a0 (TNF\u03b1, IL-17, IL-23, kemokinov za zdravljenje kroni\u010dne vnetne \u010drevesne bolezni), vezave toksina \u0161iga, ciljanja rakavih celic in dostave virusnih antigenov z namenom vakcinacije. V drugem sklopu smo razvili metode, ki laj\u0161ajo raziskave mle\u010dnokislinskih bakterij. Te vklju\u010dujejo vrednotenje novih sider za povr\u0161insko predstavitev, pristop k neGSO povr\u0161inski predstavitvi, in vivo slikanje mle\u010dnokislinskih baterij v mi\u0161ih in prvo orodje za genomski in\u017eeniring bakterije <em>Lactococcus lactis<\/em> na osnovi metode CRISPR. Tretji sklop vklju\u010duje razvoj naprednih dostavnih sistemov za probiotike. Razli\u010dne laktobacile smo uspe\u0161no vklju\u010dili v nanovlakna, potrdili njihovo viabilnost pri shranjevanju in tem omogo\u010dili hkratno su\u0161enje probiotikov in tvorbo farmacevtske oblike.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-319794\" style=\"height: 30px; clear: both; width:100%;\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"kc-elm kc-css-791147 kc_row\"><div class=\"kc-row-container  kc-container\"><div class=\"kc-wrap-columns\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-384608 kc_col-sm-12 kc_column kc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"kc-col-container\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-345969 kc_shortcode kc_single_image\">\n\n        <img src=\"https:\/\/www-b3.ijs.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/LAB_overview-scaled.jpg\" class=\"\" alt=\"\" \/>    <\/div>\n<div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-259221\" style=\"height: 30px; clear: both; width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-587615 kc_text_block\"><\/p>\n<p>ERA-Net CoBioTech <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-6k6Yo5xnn0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">projekt Cell4Chem<\/a> si je za cilj zadal zagotoviti nova orodja in strategije za pridobivanje novih specialnih kemikalij kaproata in kaprialata iz trajnostnih hranil, kot so agro-industrijski odpadki, z na\u010drtovanjem in usmerjanjem mikrobnih konzorcijev.
